Palmilhar Portugal – GR77
1. Purpose and Scope
These Terms and Conditions govern the application process and possible integration of partner entities into the Palmilhar Portugal – GR77 project.
This process is intended for entities in the sectors of accommodation, catering, culture, leisure, local commerce and tourism activities, with the aim of structuring future integrated experiences and tourism packages associated with the Palmilhar Portugal - GR77 walking trail.
Completing the application form does not, in itself, constitute any contractual or commercial relationship.
2. Nature of the Application
2.1. Submitting an application does not guarantee any automatic right of selection or integration into the project's partner network.
2.2. The evaluation and selection of entities is carried out by the Palmilhar Portugal team, based on internal criteria, including:
- Geographic proximity to the GR77 route.
- Quality, authenticity and relevance of the offering.
- Operational and logistical capacity.
- Alignment with sustainability and territorial enhancement principles.
- Suitability for the overall user experience of the trail.
2.3. Palmilhar Portugal reserves the right to accept, reject or defer any application without the need for justification.
3. Obligations of the Applicant / Partner
By submitting the application, the applicant agrees to:
3.1. Provide (when requested) true, complete and up-to-date information about their activity, including prices, services and legal framework (e.g. Local Accommodation Registration, tourism licensing, or other applicable requirements).
3.2. Ensure compliance with all legislation in force applicable to their activity.
3.3. Promptly communicate any relevant changes that may affect possible integration into experience packages.
3.4. Ensure they hold all rights and authorisations necessary for the operation of their activity.
4. Intellectual Property and Use of Content
4.1. The applicant grants the Palmilhar Portugal project, free of charge, the right to use the trade name, logo, images and other materials provided as part of the application for the purposes of promoting the project, publicising partners, digital and print communications, and integration into GR77 informational materials.
4.2. The applicant declares that they own the rights to the content submitted or hold valid authorisation for its use and transfer.
5. Independence of the Parties
Possible integration into future partner networks or experience packages does not create any relationship of employment, commercial partnership, legal representation or exclusivity between the parties. Palmilhar Portugal and its partners remain entirely independent entities.
6. Changes to the Project and Process
6.1. Palmilhar Portugal reserves the right to modify, adapt or redefine the GR77 route, as well as the partner selection criteria, whenever necessary for the evolution of the project.
6.2. The application process may be suspended, updated or closed at any time, without obligation of individual prior notice.
7. Liability
7.1. Palmilhar Portugal acts exclusively as a platform for promotion, curation and connection between users and partners.
7.2. Palmilhar Portugal assumes no responsibility for the quality, execution or fulfilment of services provided by partners.
7.3. Each partner is solely and exclusively responsible, at civil, administrative and criminal level, for the services they provide to their clients.
8. Data Protection
The processing of personal data provided as part of the application is governed by the Palmilhar Portugal Privacy Policy, in accordance with the GDPR. Data will be used exclusively for evaluation, contact and partnership management purposes.
